Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what GOD’s will is—HIS good, pleasing and perfect will.” This passage highlights the importance of self-denial and sacrifice in serving YAHOWA.

We are called to offer ourselves as living sacrifices, dedicating our lives to pleasing GOD rather than conforming to the ways of the world. This requires us to renew our minds and be transformed by GOD’s word, so that we can understand and follow HIS will. We must be willing to put aside our own wants and desires and instead follow JESUS, carrying our cross – ( difficult challenges).

Carrying The Cross Meaning

To bear the cross, or to carry one’s own cross, symbolizes the act of placing trust in GOD during difficult times. Similarly, we are called upon to emulate this sacrificial love by laying down our lives for our fellow brothers and sisters, as stated in 1 John 3:16: “By this we know love, that HE laid down HIS life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.”

The act of CHRIST giving up HIS life for us serves as a testament to what true love entails. Thus, we too should be willing to give up our lives for the sake of GOD and that of our brethren, demonstrating absolute self-denial in service to GOD and others.

Furthermore, it is essential for us to take up our own crosses and follow the example of CHRIST, wholeheartedly submitting to HIS will and purpose for our lives. In doing so, we align ourselves with the ultimate embodiment of love and self-sacrifice, finding fulfillment in our devotion to serving GOD & others and embracing the divine path set before us.

It can be difficult to endure suffering and hardship whilst you serve the LORD, but when we look to CHRIST as our example, we are strengthened and encouraged to persevere. By holding onto our faith and trusting in YAHOWA, we can find peace and hope in the midst of our struggles.
