How To Baptized The Right Way: Powerful Insights – Part1 | Repent Hub
How to baptized the right way?
Baptism holds a significant place in the Christian faith. According to the book of Matthew 28:18-20, JESUS THE CHRIST commanded HIS disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. This implies that during the act of baptizing an individual, it is crucial to reference these specific names or utilize this particular formula, in accordance with the instructions given by CHRIST. Consequently, when performing a baptism, it is important to mention the names: The Father (YAHOWA), The Son ( CHRIST ), and The Holy Spirit ( RUACH ELOHIM ) to ensure adherence to CHRIST’s directives. Alternatively, instead of repeating the same name three times, it is acceptable to utter the name JESUS CHRIST once.

HOLY GHOST Is The Spirit Of CHRIST
In the old testament, RUACH ELOHIM means the breath of GOD or the Spirit of GOD. In Genesis 41:38, Pharaoh said of Moses, “Can we find a man like this, in whom is the Ruach Elohim?” In the new testament in the book of Acts 2:4, we read that the HOLY SPIRIT comes upon the disciples, and they were all filled with the HOLY GHOST and began to speak with other tongues, as THE SPIRIT gave them utterance. In John 14:26, CHRIST says that the Comforter, which is the HOLY GHOST, whom the Father will send in HIS name, shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. We find out that the HOLY GHOST comes in the name of JESUS THE CHRIST.
Is JESUS The FATHER And The SON?
In Romans 8:9, we learn that the HOLY GHOST is THE SPIRIT of JESUS CHRIST. Therefore, the name of the Holy Ghost is JESUS THE CHRIST. What then is the name of the Father? In the book of John 14:8-10, Philip said to CHRIST “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.” CHRIST said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.”
The FATHER And SON Are ONE
CHRIST said in John 5:43 that he came in his Father’s name. We also know the Father and the Son are one. In the book of John 10:30, JESUS CHRIST himself says, “I and my Father are one.” As it is written in the book of Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and HIS name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Simply put, the Father and the Son have the same name.
- Mighty God ( John 1:1)
- Everlasting Father ( John 14:8-10 )
- Holy Spirit ( John 14:26 )
- JESUS CHRIST ( Isaiah. 9:6 )
Re: “Baptism” There Is NO Confusion
Some people may be confused about which way to baptize, but we can look at how the disciples baptized after CHRIST gave that commandment in Matthew 28:19. Looking at Acts 2:38-41, we find Apostle Peter baptizing people in CHRIST’s Name. These were the first baptisms after Matthew 28:19. Later we find Evangelist Philip baptizing people in CHRIST’s Name in the book of Acts 8:12-17. Many years later, Apostle Paul – baptized people who had been baptized by John the Baptist- this time in the Name of JESUS CHRIST. It is amazing to find that every baptism that happened after CHRIST gave commandment in Matthew occurred in CHRIST’s holy Name. This is the reason why we baptize in CHRIST’ Name and encourage everyone to do the same.
“Understanding the Significance of Baptism in the Name of JESUS CHRIST (IESOUS).”
Participating in the baptism ceremony in the name of CHRIST signifies our participation in the death and burial of Christ. As stated in Romans 6:3-4, “Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into ”YESU” were baptized into HIS death? We were buried therefore with HIM by baptism into death, in order that, just as CHRIST was raised from the dead by the glory of the FATHER, we too might walk in newness of life.” Baptism acts as a dividing line between our old selves and new creations, accomplished through the name and act of JESUS THE CHRIST.
Colossians 2:11-12 affirms this: “In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of CHRIST, having been buried with HIM in baptism, in which you were also raised with HIM through faith in the powerful working of YAHOWA, who raised HIM from the dead.”
So, understand this: baptism is an essential sacrament in the Christian faith, and it should be done following CHRIST’s instructions. When baptizing someone
“The Three Witnesses of GOD On Earth and in Heaven”
(1 John 5:8)
And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one
For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. (1 John 5:7) -> JESUS THE CHRIST
As it is written In 1 John 5:8, – there are three witnesses on earth that testify to the truth of YAHOWA. These witnesses are the Spirit, the water, and the blood. “The Spirit” to refer to the HOLY SPIRIT, while “the water” and “the blood” is the baptism and sacrifice of IESOUS’s blood that was shed) the water (baptism) _ and the water that gushed out of CHRIST, respectively.
The spirit = HOLY SPIRIT
Water = The water that gushed out / Baptism of CHRIST
Blood = CHRIST’s blood that was shed
As It is written these three witnesses agree as one, meaning that they all testify to the same truth. And who is the Truth? you may ask- that’s CHRIST THE KING (John 14:6)
In 1 John 5:7, it says that there are three witnesses in heaven that testify to the truth of God. These witnesses are the Father, the WORD, and the HOLY SPIRIT. The “WORD” here is CHRIST, who is described in the Gospel of John as the WORD made flesh (John 1:1-14). It states that these three witnesses are one, meaning that they are united in their testimony to the truth of GOD. Again ” the truth” = CHRIST
THE FATHER = because HE sent HIS only begotten…
THE WORD = ”CHRIST” – sacrificed HIMSELF that we may have life
THE HOLY SPIRIT = Witness ( Acts 5:32) (John 14:26)
These verses have been the subject of much debate among scholars and theologians – beloved, there is no confusion here, the verses are genuine and should be interpreted as is: it emphasizes the importance of faith in JESUS CHRIST (The TRUTH).
What is the correct way to baptize according to the bible
Conclusion: How To Baptized The Right Way?
In John 5:43, CHRIST declared that He came in HIS Father’s name. We also acknowledge the unity of the FATHER and the SON. In John 10:30, JESUS CHRIST personally affirmed, “I and my Father are one.” Isaiah 9:6 further reinforces this truth, proclaiming, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and HIS name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” In essence, the FATHER and the SON share the same name. This underscores the rationale behind our practice of baptizing in the name of JESUS THE CHRIST, as Isaiah 9:6 makes abundantly clear, leaving no room for doubt.
Furthermore, in the book of Acts 2, on the day of Pentecost, Apostle Peter preached to the assembled crowds, urging them to “repent and be baptized in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins” (Acts 2:38). Detailed accounts of baptisms in Acts reveal that the first apostles consistently baptized in the name of JESUS CHRIST.
However, some may question this practice, citing JESUS’ instruction in Matthew 28:18-19 to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Indeed, He stated that all authority in heaven and on earth had been granted to HIM. Thus, HE commanded, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
To shed light on this matter, consider this conclusion: Baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit is in alignment with JESUS’ directive. When CHRIST mentioned that all authority in heaven and on earth had been given to HIM, it signifies HIS supreme authority. Therefore, by baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, you are essentially obeying GOD, as JESUS is the embodiment of divine authority.
However, it’s important to note that invoking the name of JESUS carries even greater authority, as He explicitly declared HIS sovereignty over all realms, both heavenly and earthly. In essence, both practices are correct, but mentioning the name of JESUS specifically carries the weight of His all-encompassing authority. This clarification aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of this theological matter.
NOTE: “Baptize correctly by following JESUS’ guidance. HE and the FATHER are one, as Isaiah 9:6 reveals. Baptize in JESUS’ name as shown in Acts 2:38, aligning with Matthew 28:18-19. Baptizing in CHRIST’ name fully respects HIS supreme authority.”
